Our greenhouse...

Jennifer...are you impressed????? Lol - it's not quite my Mom and Dads greenhouse lol - or Lois Holes lol! But this is where my seedlings are, in my front window where they get light from about 11am onwards and LOTS of humidity.....if thats not enough we can add a light too as I have one upstairs I can add (my SAD light may as well get used for something lol). Let me know what you think....will it work? Will it be humid enough in the house? Warm enough? Light enough? This is the only place we can put them as the basement won't work as if I can't see them I will forget about them (tried that) the garage is heated but poor light and again I am likely to forget them. Last year we used the kitchen but this year that is not possible for long because building work may start......so my front room with the sunlight most of the day and where the computer is, is our only choice....

Everything but the tomatoes are planted now - so I have to get those done in the next couple of days.....

Roast beef...

roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, crispy roast potatoes......gravy.....it smells incredible! YUMMY!!!! I love Sunday dinner :)

Woodburning....

Laurence spent some time yesterday wood burning on a picture frame for his bedroom. I think he found it very relaxing sitting there quietly drawing on the wood....but we all kept forgetting what he was doing and people kept running into the room asking what was on fire :)

Greys Anatomy

Yesterday we played two rounds of the Greys Anatomy board game with the older kids.....they've all watched the first three series of this show. Laurie won the first game in a challenge against me because he knew that George was Izzy's penis fish. (lol don't ask!!!) I guessed that Alex was Izzy's penis fish and was wrong...but really, when you think about it, Alex is sooooo much more likely to be Izzy's penis fish than George!!!!!

I won the second game because I swapped places with Chris in a challenge becase he stupidly said 'lemon' when asked what FLOWER Merediths hair smelled of....Uh Chris FLOWER!!!!!! Lol! And now if you don't watch Greys Anatomy you are probably wondering what on EARTH I am on about!

So it was fun to play with them and Lloyd kept trying to get me to look at the answers to cheat and win but I wouldn't look :)

My little bugger!

I hope his fringe (bangs) grows back quickly. He looks so dorky with it short lol! Every time I catch him doing something 'naughty' (about every five minutes) he just puts his head on his shoulders and says ever so sweetly 'I love you Mom'.......sigh......

Rockstar!

I can hear my Mom saying OH MY GAWD!!!!!!! I dyed Abigails hair pink yesterday...actually its called Chili Plum. It's a mousse that lasts 8 - 10 weeks :) I put some in Susie and Chris's hair too :) Thought it would be fun for Spring :) Figured it's just hair and it will grow out :)

Rocket ship.......

I think they've started launching rocket ships up at Fort McMurray...at least thats what this looks like to us ;)

We live near the lay-by where they park all the 'big things' that are on their way up to the oil fields....most 'big things' travel by night when the roads are quiet...so they park them here during the day.....cokers etc etc. Not sure what this one is but it wouldn't look out of place parked up on its end at Kennedy Space Centre ;)
