new shoes :)
I couldn't resist trying these shoes on today - they were two sizes too big and I wouldn't have been able to walk in them - and they are clear acrylic and had bubbles inside them and glitter too! But WOW! I just HAD to try them on :) They are like dress up shoes for grown ups :)

Today....
listening - to Sam talking so proudly about his artwork and painting and his hopes and dreams of being a famous artist and selling his work....
eating - I made a recipe from 'Crock Pot Girls' called '7 can soup' which was made with ground beef, various vegetables, garlic and seasoning, and then has 7 tins of various things added - like kidney beans, minestrone soup, beef broth, tomatoes, corn, etc etc....then leave it to cook all day and it was served with wholewheat buns. It was really good and there is enough for after school tomorrow or for lunch. It was nutritious, comforting and yummy.
drinking - I went out for coffee with Ki tonight - well, actually we sat in Second Cup over some London Fogs and spent the whole evening chatting away about life and love and everything in between :)
wearing - long sleeves again...sweaters in the early mornings. Long jeans again. Socks. My kick-ass boots with the high heels :)
feeling - excited, happy, nervous, happy....hmmm did I say happy???? :)
wanting - next week to be here already...
needing - to get through my 'to do' list...
thinking - about how great this homeschool year is going soooo far! My conversation with Thanh today was very interesting and it was helpful for me to because she was asking me questions that helped me to reflect on my own experiences this year. Things really are going soooooo well. LOVING it :)
enjoying - our routine...mornings, days, homeschool, family, evenings....my routine with B, routine with friends...just my routine of life in general...I'm just enjoying life right now :) I feel blessed :) And very grateful!!
wondering - what the next few days will bring :)
