Attitude of Gratitude!!!

Today I am grateful for:
wonderful friends who made me laugh with their fabulous comments - you knew the exact responses I needed to hear :) Thank you!!

I am grateful that I have all the 'external' Christmas gifts bought now....only gifts for my own children to get now and I will be done - and I have several of those already so I am making good progress :) this makes me feel much happier considering I don't know what the next 6 weeks will hold!

I am grateful for a lovely family-centred evening - movie, game, knitting, library, crafts, chatting....and it's only just 8pm :)

I am grateful that within 5 minutes of posting about my latest class idea, I already had 3 people sign up!!  It's so exciting.  Maybe I was born to teach art!!  :)  And the more people I talk to, the more horrific stories I hear about students turned off of art by art teachers who criticize their art work from a very young age.  It's so sad!  Art should be FUN - children should be ENCOURAGED!!!

Day 2 Art Every Day month!!!

Today I decided to spend some time knitting...It has been SUCH a long time since I knitted but it's something I can do quietly while watching a movie a with the children.  Abigail knitted some of her scarf too :)

I also posted about two new art classes I am teaching in December.  I booked in 6 people for my classes in January and December as well :)

Abigail and Sam started working on their heads like the one I worked on yesterday.

I went to Michaels and stocked up on Modpodge.

It was definitely an art-focused day :)

Funny but true :)

My knight in shining armour

turned out to be a loser in aluminium foil...

Hahaha :)
